Norman Couture got his start in the business at an early age. At 10, he worked for his fathers painting company over summer breaks. He took that opportunity to learn every aspect of the trade. From painting commercial spaces inside and out, to spraying furniture, kitchen cabinets and doors, the family business set the foundation for Norman's skill set.

In his teen years, Norman attended trade school and took up painting and decorating.

It was there, in 1974, that he discovered he wanted to expand his knowledge and enrolled in The United States School of Professional Paperhanging. Located in Rutland Vermont, the school was very hands on, and Norman learned how to hang just about every wallcovering on the market. At age 17, he finished his schooling and became the youngest student ever to graduate.

Upon graduation, Norman started his company and began taking advanced custom color mixing and faux finishing classes in New York City.

Norman's expertise in the professions of painting, paperhanging and decorating has expanded over the past 40 years.

Today, the company specializes in interior and exterior painting, paperhanging, faux finishes, furniture painting and staining, cabinetry refinishing, and custom color mixing. In addition to these services, Norman has access to some of the best carpenters, plumbers, tile installers and electricians in the business.

Serving all of Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, Norman prides

himself in completing every job to the highest standards possible. Quality is always first at Norman Couture Professional Interiors.
